Benny makes more friends!

Thank you very much to Michele and Peggy for sending in this photograph!

Benny was particularly excited to meet his Wisconsin friends as Peggy has a
wonderful room at home dedicated to the Moose! We hope that Benny's photograph will make a welcome addition!

"Awesome! We'll give you A* for that!"

Hello :)
After spending a day with Benny in Central, we decided it would be a good idea to do a list of FAQ, as we seem to get the same questions repeatedly.
Here it is!

Q: Is it a cow?
A: No. Benny is a moose. The antlers kind of give it away :)

Q: What he it made of?
A: Maskingtape. And vast amounts of it!

Q: Is he just made out of masking tape?
A: No, he has a frame of chicken wire. Other than that, it’s all maskingtape.

Q: You must have spent a fortune on tape?
A: Yes. We did. But it was worth it :)

Q: Are there more like him somewhere?
A: As far as we know, Benny is the only masking tape moose in the world!

Q: How long did it take to make him?
A: About 5 days, when we include that we had to fix his legs several times.

Q: How did you get it to central?
A: Benny came on the train from Kingston. Thank you to South West Trains for letting him ride for free :)

Q: Is he staying in London over night?
A: No, Benny has to go back to Kingston University at night. We don’t want to lose him.

Q: Does it have a name?
A: Yes, he’s name is Benny the Moose :)

Q: Why did you make it?
A: Benny is a promotional piece for Kingston University. He is a product of something ordinary made extraordinary.

Now that you know more about Benny, we hope you're interested in meeting him on his next day out in central!

"He is AMAZING. Really!"

Bennys' big day out!

Hello, it's Benny again.
I usually hang around Kingston Uni, where I live, but every now and again I take the train to Central London for a day out!

I like taking the train. I meet lots of interesting people that way.

"He looks like a reindeer but I think he is a moose!"

Hello, my name's Benny! I'm a promotional piece for Kingston University.
And I am not a reindeer, I am a moose made out of maskingtape!
